Habitat homeware collection Spring 2022

Every Saturday I do my grocery shopping at Sainsbury's (Calcot, Reading) and they have a Habitat store inside and before start shopping I stop by to see what's the latest they have. Their new homeware collection has become a hit with me. With a lovely colour scheme of muted green, yellow, gold and black accents the collection bring a fresh look to our home. They also have an amazing selection of glass vases. Below I have listed my 6 favourites items plus a few more that I would definitely buy if my budget would allow.

1. Fresh Vintage Twist Glass Vase

What I love about this vase is the retro feel, the apple green colour and the long curvy body. It's all on trend but at the same time can be a classic of the Mid-Century style. Can be perfectly styled into a contemporary home as well as retro vintage style space. You just have to add some flowers or greenery, which can also be dried or faux for a maintenance free floral arrangement. To create a bit of drama you can add a large leaf or 3 or some pampas grass.

2. Medium Lantern Candle Holder

This classic lantern in brushed brass and clear glass brings a refined touch to your space and it's also very easy to add the candle by lifting up the glass cover and sliding in the your candle. It can create quite a statement with it's 36.5cm high and when you light up your candle, real or battery operated, it will feel the room with a luminous glow and create a cozy luxe atmosphere.

3. Sicily Floral Framed Wall Art

This retro style print is another of my favourites that will brighten up any wall in your home. With fresh lemon and flowers hanging from a leafy branch painted in pretty pastels is sure to bring some fresh inspiration from the Mediterranean island to your home for this spring/summer season.

4. Double Plant Stand

This double plant holder is great to create height and layers of texture. Add some of your favourite greenery and place on a console table or sideboard to make an impact with the two tones green metal pots on a slim streamlined golden stand. It will freshen up your space instantly.

5. Faux Tulips in Check Vase

Nothing scream spring as tulips. They are synonym that spring is here and this Habitat Faux Tulips inc check vase is so gorgeous, so life like. The pop of bright pink just makes me smile every time I look at it. The cute check vase complement the tulips so perfectly. You can display it anywhere around your home. Place on a console table at the entrance to give a welcome to your guests.

6. Leaf Print Cushion

I love this cushion because the beautiful organic motif are so on-trend and also because it's 100% cotton. I love cotton cushions, they are perfect for spring/summer season and also easy to wash with the zipper fastening. Layered them with other pattern and solid colour cushions for a rich visual scheme.

My other favourites

Their collection of glass vases in yellow and pink shades are the perfect items to bring some spring colour to your space. The vases are beautifully designed that can be displayed on their own or add some flowers or greenery for a touch of natural element. They also have some candles in the same collection, when the candle finishes you can add any other candle block or used as a beautiful decorative item or little bowl as a catch all at your entry table.

Other items that I really like from this collection are the Glass Ball bookends in a muted green shade with a gold metal base, beautiful orbs for a luxury touch, that will complement the other items from the collection. Also, the Bamboo lantern, the Marble candle holder and the Scalloped edge table lamp.

That's it for today, my favourite items from the new Habitat collection of homewares that can really updated your space and bring in some spring colour to brighten up home.
